Green-cheeked Parakeet (Pyrrhura molinae)
Size: 26cm

Weight: 60 to 80gms

Colour: Green body, dark grey/black head with green cheeks, bluish tinge at ends of wings and maroon tail.

Lifespan: 20 Years

Sexing: Monomorphic, female and male have the same colourings.

Distribution: Predominately Brazil and surrounding countries.

Habitat: Dense tropical forests.

Threats:    Secure in wild & common in captivity   

Commonly known as Green-cheeked Conure in aviculture.
